In addition to Amman, northern Jordan is home to other cities associated with ancient  list of the Decapolis_Jarash (Gerasa), Tabaqat Fahl (Pella), Umm Qays (Gadara),Irbid (Arabila), Al Husn (Dion), Quwayliba (Abila) and Bayt Ras (Capitorias). Together, these sites give the visitor a sense of the magnificence of the Roman world at its height.
